BOOKLODGE.com is a Hong Kong based Online Bookshop dedicated to provide a great variety of books in different languages to children from newborn to teens. Selected titles to help fellow men and women through parenthood will also be available. Special discount price will be offered from time to time.
The making of Booklodge.com ...
Being parents of two young children in Hong Kong, the founders of Booklodge.com constantly feel despair towards the TV culture which is tainting our children's mind and soul.
They started an early rescue mission by introducing intensive story telling sessions to their little ones, which not only successfully fostered a passionate love of books for the babies but the process also helped develop a close bond for the family.
The founders constantly searched for appropriate books for their children but finding too few bookshops in Hong Kong and range of children's book limited, especially titles other than in English.
The Booklodge project was thus being contemplated and here we are, a website dedicated for a simple mission - providing a wide range of good quality English as well as Chinese, Spanish and French books for children from 0-18 and also some selected titles for parents / parents-to-be.
Why the name "Booklodge"?
We believe there is an innermost part in every person which when being touched upon, will affect and even dictate the future of the person's life. For our little children, this untouched part is yet to be explored. And thus, we set out to lodge 'goodies' in it by introducing a habit of reading educational and yet interesting books.
